Sean Moriarty, ENRECO’s president and CEO, left the commodity grain industry
and purchased ENRECO, Inc. in 2004.

“I was completely sold on the nutritional potential of whole-grain ingredients such
as flaxseed and wanted to be part of our nation’s new and growing appreciation
of their contribution to health and nutrition,” says Moriarty, explaining his decision
to invest his future in ENRECO.

Moriarty subsequently dedicated himself to the growth and development of a vibrant company dedicated to providing nutritional ingredients defined by excellence in innovation, quality and customer service.

ENRECO, Inc. was founded in 1987 as the research and development
arm of Natural Ovens of Manitowoc, a pioneer in the development of nutritious
flaxseed products rich in omega-3s, fiber, antioxidants and other nutritional and
nutraceutical benefits. ENRECO also offers a range of whole-grain blends of flaxseed with other nutritious ingredients such as antioxidant-rich sorghum, legumes and fish oils.

ENRECO’s office and manufacturing facility are situated close to convenient truck and rail arteries in the rolling countryside just north of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The company’s manufacturing facility is AIB certified for quality and safety and produces organic ingredients under the OneCert organic certification program.
